Would you like fries with that?

It’s fitting that The Drum celebrate pure, unadulterated creativity under the banner of the Chip Shop Awards.

It’s where the mushy peas of a wordy ad for a dating website sit happily next to the battered sausage of a video outlining how to market Facebook; and, more often than not, the entries are sharper than vinegar. 

The call for entries went out across Tribe, and we responded with a volley of creativity. We took on Brexit, burger restaurants, Viagra, sportswear brands and fizzy drinks, stuck them all to a wall and voted for our favourites.

We’ve sent our three best off to the awards with a packed lunch and a warm coat, and now we’re waiting for nominations to be announced on the 28th of April.
