As part of an overall rebrand, we were asked to re-design the David Fowkes Jewellery website to reflect the values of the brand – Elegance, craftsmanship and timeless design. This was to include a content-managed gallery platform for David to showcase his work.
We approached the design of this site with simplicity in mind, allowing the jewellery itself to be the star of the show. The stunning series of gemstone photography, commissioned by Tribe for use on the home page, is combined with clean, simple navigation and branding elements, creating a premium feel for the brand. Using open source technology, we were able to offer David full control over the content of his site.
Clean, simple structure combined with considered use of colour and typography has given David Fowkes Jewellery a website they can be proud of. Just like the jewellery itself, the website is an enticing mix of expert craftsmanship and elegant design. The gallery and news sections will continue to evolve as David adds new pieces to his collection.
