The brief

Create a brand campaign to promote Picturing Britain - a bicentenary exhibition for the Nottingham Artist, utilising Sandby's style while ensuring the exhibition would appeal to a varied audience.

The execution

We teamed Sandby's distinctive style with a crisp san-serif based identity system and a colour palette, that although looks contemporary, found its heritage in Sandby's day.

The results

The marketing and identity system appealed to a varied customer base and helped introduce Sandby's work to a new generation of Nottingham people.
