It was a stunning day on the Champs Élysées, and Team Sky decided to make it even better by making history with Britain’s first ever Tour de France winner.

Here’s a photo I took, just as the main bunch chased down the break away riders on the final lap before delivering Cavendish over the line for his fourth consecutive win on the cobbles. Wiggins was imperious – and I consider myself massively fortunate to witness first hand one of the most impressive achievements in sport. Awesome.
